Oakley Store

On my mission to find a running top to wear in the final fleeting moments of summer in the hope that I get a last minute bronze before the sun goes away (I’ve been overseas in winter for the past 6 months so my stomach definitely needed it) I wandered into Oakley, hoping to find something of interest. Their crop top range was quite limited — mostly stuff that you would wear under things, as opposed to wearing just by itself. Also the one that I liked the most was almost 100 dollars because it had UV protection or something, I’m not entirely sure as the shop attendant didn’t explain it too well and sort of just trailed off. I also wasn’t really helped in the changing room, the shop attendants just seeming to enjoy talking amongst themselves than helping anyone. If you are after some new sports gears though they do have a pretty good range of both mens and womens items, however it is quite pricey and don’t expect the service to be overly fantastic (well it wasn’t for me at least).

Came in here to casually look at some sunglasses. Turns out the staff are super helpful and actually know what they are talking about, and were happy to go investigate pricing for various options I was interested in. This was great! Friendly keen-​to-​help staff make all the difference.
I didn’t end up buying any sunglasses, but I did happen to buy a couple of shirts. They had an amazing sale rack, actually quite a few sale racks, and if I had more time, I probably would have bought a lot more.
Recommended! Would definitely go in again to check it out, even though I’m not a surfer or snowboarder, or any kind of cool person at all. :)
