This review is for the restaurant. The food is ample, tasty, and elegant. The service is quick and pleasant. I ordered the 3 course menu and was exploding by the end of it and couldn’t finish the dessert no matter how badly I wanted to. The atmosphere is quiet and the décor, simple yet elegant. I’d definitely go there again.

I’ve spent about five weeks at this hotel over the past few months, and it’s definitely decent. The location is great if you need to take the train(which I do, because my office is in Meyrin). The hotel staff is pretty nice, although I have had some bad luck with some not-very-well-trained folks who hadn’t yet mastered the check-in process and couldn’t figure out how to print out my bill at checkout. The restaurant staff is generally pretty apathetic, but the food at the restaurant is fairly decent. I did get one of the«classic» rooms with the weird half-door… And I also took a picture of the door because it was so bizarre! The bathrooms in that room line are also ridiculously tiny with absolutely no counter space. As I was staying there for two weeks, the front desk was kind enough to switch me the next day to a room with a non– Harry Potter door. Rooms at the back of the hotel are really quiet, but I had to download a white noise app for my phone when I had a room that faced the station. Two things about this hotel that I actively dislike: while Warwick Hotels is a small chain, they have no loyalty program, which really stinks when you spend quite a bit of time there. And the beds are almost laughably hard! They are really uncomfortable, which is a shame because most of the rooms are pretty nice in all other respects.

As the old adage goes location, location, location — that is by far the biggest asset of this hotel and the friendly staff. The Warwick is located in front of the train station and pretty close to everything — there is even a shopping mall behind it. The location came in very handy when I was here in February given that it was freezing outside. Many restaurants are a short walk away as are the underground shops of the station. The rooms are fairly spacious as are the bathrooms. The Queen size beds are two small beds put together and if you sleep in the middle as I do you will fall right between the beds. The breakfast buffet featured the usual Swiss delights such as Bircher Muessli, eggs, croissants etc — very good. For the type of hotel that it is, a slightly older hotel, it’s pretty good. Nice location, good staff — what else does one need.

This is another hotel that I recommend to colleagues to stay at. It is directly opposite the train station. It is not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is nice. The restaurant is decent. Be careful when booking. They have these classic rooms that have not been renovated. The door into the room doesn’t even look like a regular door as it is very narrow. It looks like a closet door. The classic rooms are not renovated, and are EXTREMELY narrow. The closet doors didn’t even open all the way. I took a picture of my door compared to the other room doors because I had never seen such a size difference. They should change the room type to closet. The second time I staid there, I took a standard room, and they were fine. Still small, but not extremely narrow. :)
