Non merci, pas pour moi. Je n’aime pas du tout cette chaîné de fast-food. Les quantités servies sont monstrueuses, servies dans des paniers et cela né fait que vous donner des hauts-le-cœur. Je trouve cela insensé que l’on puisse servir des quantités pareilles, incitant les gens à se gaver, alors que tout cela n’est que mauvais pour la santé du client, du climat et de son portefeuille.

I was looking for a place to invite my friend for dinner, and as a burger addict, I had spotted this place during my visit.
Once again, you have to know that for a foreign visitor, Switzerland will seem really expensive. At Holy Cow, you can have a burger + fries + a drink for 20CHF. Trust me, it’s a good deal when you know that a kebab + Coke is 12CHF !
Good point: the recipes are very original, even as a burger aficionado, I’ve never seen some of this recipe ! I had one with salsa and avocado, while my friend chose the special Montreux Burger with Gorgonzola. The burger is huge and the meat is juicy: perfect !
The fries are also very good, and you have to try the different syrup/drinks from the «self service» drinks station. Fleur de Sureau is amazing and not too sweet.
I would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a great burger. Nothing fancy about the place but the food is amazing.

Holy Cow! Burgers are amazing, hadn’t had a great one since coming back to Europe from the States, and this place is delicious. I ordered the Elvis Blue Cheese, and it was yum!

Amazing burgers (my favourite is the Elvis Blue Cheese), very good fries, and even artisanal beer.
It won’t set you off a lot more than McDonald’s, and it’s a million times better. Definitely great bang for your buck, amongst the best quality/price rapports in Lausanne.
Communal tables (so not a place to linger), boisterous atmosphere, and ridiculously fast service make this the ultimate quality fast food spot.

Ils sont sympas ces nouveau concepts d’hamburgers nouvelle génération, il y a des belles assiettes pour 20 frs, un ambiance contemporaine et conviviale, familiale. Les hamburgers sont conséquents et épais. Les ingrédients sont de mises pour un bon hors d’œuvre.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying they make the best burgers in town (I didn’t get the chance to go somewhere else ;)), but they are increadible delicious! I had the Chicken Bacon Avocado with crisps and loved it all to the end ;)
So if you are in town and up for a burger do not miss this one !!

Cool burger joint serving up gourmet burgers (with a wide selection of toppings) & homemade fires. A little bit on the pricey side but well worth it. The burgers are fantastic.
This place is normally packed at lunch, but the crowds flow in and out fairly quickly. The kitchen is very fast and people usually free space up fairly quickly.

Il y a 2 Holy Cow à Lausanne, je n’ai encore jamais été à celui d’en bas de la rue Mareterey (toujours été chez leur concurrent, le Zoo Burger). Par contre, celui-ci, j’y vais souvent, car vraiment au centre ville.
Les burgers, y’a rien à dire, sont délicieux, tout comme les frites. J’apprécie les thés froids maison ou juste les thés froids en bouteille (du même fournisseur que celui de la Migros, les best ice tea !).
Par contre, le lieu me déplaît. De gros bancs en bois pour faire un peu cantine de western, souvent assez gras après le passage de nombreux gourmets.
Un bon point: le service est rapide malgré le monde qui né désemplit pas ! :)

It’s a fast food restaurant and it’s using only local products. So the products such as potatoes, meat, vegetables, bread, salad etc. are fresh and the food is homemade. We enjoyed vegetarian burgers with delicious French fries. There are drinks to enjoy too, like ice tea, fizzy drinks and so on. The service is friendly. But there is a space problem there. It’s always crowded and people are sitting so close to each others that you can hear someone’s eating noise and it’s noisy. And not to forget to mention people who are moving behind your back and touching you all the time because it’s really narrow there. And there are other guests who are waiting for a free place. So, it’s better to take the food and to go away to a public park. The price is the average and the food quality is good.
