Atelier

It’s a coffee shop by day, drink place at evening. Located on the corner of Paradeplatz (aka bankers paradise), this will probably attract a lot of people from the banking industry. Depending on who you are, you may jump for joy as you put your suit on; or cringe in sickness and yell at me for giving this review too many stars already purely due to location.
I’d give this place 2 – 3 stars for coffee. But it’s from Nespresso machine!!! This place is supposed to be posh, so I’d expect something from a real espresso machine. You are better off walking a few minutes to La Stanza to get some real cappuccino. Please.
However for drinks like something that they will pour from a bottle to a glass (i.e wine, prosecco…) this ok place is not too shabby and will get a 3 – 4 stars. But is that what we should only aspire?
If this posh place w a decent interior (love the chandelier) starts to serve espresso/​cappuccino from a real machine; then it deserves an upgrade… As after all, it spends half of its day masquerading /​functioning as a coffee shop.

Sehr hübsche Bar im Bankenviertel, der ideale Ort um am Morgen mit einem Kaffee auf Touren zu kommen, und vor allem um am Abend mit einem Bier oder Drink runterzufahren. Kompliment an die Innendesigner, die haben wirklich eine schöné Atmospäre geschaffen.
Der Cappuccino gewinnt leider keinen Preis bei mir: ein wässeriger, leicht bitterer Nespresso-​Kaffee mit einem Berg Milchschaum drauf und — der Gipfel des Horrors: Schokopulver!
Aber für einen Drink am Abend werde ich sicher mal wieder zurückkommen
