Wingstop

I love wing stop every now and then for lunch or dinner. Love the cajun and lemon pepper wings! They are the most tasty flavors they have there.
But what I love more about Wing Stop is the service in the Redwood City location! I have gone to this location twice and Alex who is the cashier has taken care of me twice and he is just one of the most friendliest and helpful guys there! Once, I asked him for a recommendation and he told me his favorites, such as the lemon pepper.
The two times that I have gone he has not only been really friendly and helpful with me but I have seen him take care of most of his costumers too! He’s great!
To me the quality of the food is key, but the customer service always makes the experience 10x better.

Finally one close for me then San Carlos location. But here in RWC they don’t have the supper selections soda machine…

Really good wings. The mango habanero are my favorite. This is a good choice if you don’t want to cook. Very affordable meal and they are open until midnight, isn’t this cool? I Used to go the one on San Mateo, but now there is one on Redwood City. when I’m craving some good wings, it takes my 5 minutes to be there, around the corner. To be more exact, they are located by El Camino Real on Redwood City. 5 big starts for this amazing place

The lemon pepper wings are great
If prepared well. And drained properly
From the grease.
Sometimes they don’t
Spice evenly and you get pieces way too salty.
I have high blood pressure and had to throw them out.
But again if the good cook is working they are great.
No one wants to see any dude’s butt crack while working.
The barbecue flavored wings were horrible.
The wings were not grilled with the sauce
To caramelize the suger and have a crisp coating.
It was like having raw barbecue sauce poured over the wings. Very sticky and yucky.
Sometimes the hostess is nice
Sometimes very perfunctory.
Depending on who is working.
Not having wi-​fi while you wait is a downer.
Love that’s it’s open late.

Technology is awesome when you can open your Wingstop app on your phone (download the app first), order a bunch of wings and fries, pay for them, and not have to wait! I walked in, told them my name, and BOOM! my order was fresh, hot, and ready! Before the app, I would wait up to 25 – 30 minutes for my order and with a wait like that, it was almost not even worth it to consider this place for wings. But I’m digging the new location– it’s literally ¼ mile away from my house… and the app of course!

this place actually isn’t that bad. The wings are actually alright compared to the san carlos location. And it’s conveniently next to the laundromat.

Clean place, nice staff, good wings. I prefer crispy wings. So, I asked for the wings to be cooked well done. And the wings were nice and crispy. I prefer traditional buffalo wings flavor. So, I ordered the «original hot». I’d say they were medium heat at best. But they had good flavor.
I got the combo with fries. The fries were pretty unimpressive and a little soggy. They were strangely sweet too. I think they put sugar in the seasoned fries.
It did take over 15 minutes for me to get my order. But the wings were fresh & hot. So, I had no problem waiting. But I have received well done wings faster at other Wing Stops.
I’d rate 3.5 but that’s not an option

Ordered online boneless wings went to pick up order was given to me all with bone would not give me refund and told me to come back and they would give me boneless wings went back order not ready asked for a credit manager says no asked for corporate number manager told me to look on line very rude bad customer service

my wife loves wings. we enjoyed coming here on the weekend for wings and watching the games.
place is clean with friendly staffs. there is a lot of parking space. come here if you want to enjoy some good wings.

Ordered the 15 piece combo. Was doing take out, and didn’t want the 2 20 oz drinks that are included (total cost $ 4.40). Asked if I could sub out veggie sticks instead ($ 2.25) they refused. So had to pay extra to get the veggie sticks. Was told their computer doesn’t allow them to make changes. I looked at this young person, and said «it’s easy, put the order in as usual, leave out the drinks when you put the order together, and then put the veggies in the bag». Stupid kid.
And, I could swear that veggies used to be included in an order? No you have to pick between fries OR Veggies.

You know, I love wing stop. However this location falls short! Came in on a Saturday night to place an order to go. What a mistake I had made. After waiting about 5 minutes while the one girl talked on the phone and the other went back to talk to one of the cooks, who’s pants were down past his butt and I could see his batman boxers. (Pull up your pants please). I placed my order at 7:47pm and she had told me it would be 14 minutes. But don’t expect to sit anywhere because the tables were taken and there’s 1 bench. Standing room only for our 14 minute wait. Which would not have been so bad except at 8:10 we still were not called for our order. Finally at 8:15 they called my name. Incorrectly, and when I had correctly said my name she looked at me as if I was wrong for correcting her! Seriously, I wanted to make sure my order and not someone else’s! So after waiting almost 35 minutes I finally got my food and went home. To find my order was short. I ordered 15 wings for my mom and dad to share but only got 9. The fries were cold and had no seasoning. Needless to say I’ll drive the extra a couple miles to go to San Carlos or east Palo Alto. Not planning on giving this place another chance

There’s nuthin wrong with the place or the food.
It’s a good place to come when you’re craving something deep fried especially if you’re waiting for your laundry to wash or dry next door. There are a coupe flat screens to watch the Warriors cruise their way through the NBA season.
Their menu offers ample wing flavor options either a la carte or in meal combinations as well as boneless.
My Son likes wings so I knew it was a matter of time ’til he’d ask me to take him which I reluctantly did this beautiful Thursday afternoon whilst in between laundry cycles.
It’s still brand new so it’s nice and clean.
I initiated a proper salutation as we were met with none.
But to be fair, I entered with no expectations whatsoever.
There is no table-​side service after you pay for your order at the register so ifya want sumthin, ya gotta get up and get’tchyer self.
We had the Atomic boneless tenders which my Son was blown apart by. I eat raw habaneros and chiles w my tacos so for me, the recipe was mostly overwhelming vinegar and salt. I also ordered the bone in Hawaiian and Cajun flavored wings which were better. The fries left me on the fence. I Enjoyed the seasoning, but to be fair again, I’m used to crispy ones and these were very soft. Depends on your preferences really.
OH! MOST IMPORTANTLY FOR BEER LOVERS,
there is no draft set up installed. Only the typical bottled Shock Top, Bud, and Anchor Steam. But then there’re a couple uncommon ones like, Montejo and Hangar 24’s Betty IPA which I tried, and it was pretty good.

I’d much rather have a place there that creates a minimum wage job market for the locals than the liquor store that usedta be there that contributes nothin positive to the community.

I walked in at 12:08pm and there was a kid in a 49ers beanie and white sweatshirt loitering around the counter bothering a girl taking phone orders. I was told my meal of 3 tenders and fries would be 14 minutes.
I sat down next to a woman who ordered before me and she said she had been waiting 15 minutes. After another 10 minutes, she finally got her order.
A male then walked in and started talking to one of the female workers and she went to the back door near the bathrooms. They started chatting and then making out! The kid in the white sweatshirt then entered the kitchen and started bothering the employees.
Needless to say, this is the worst run Wingstop I have visited, and I won’t be back. I will be calling on Monday to complain to a manager. Oh, and 28 minutes later I got raw fries and my tenders were not fully cooked.

So happy there’s a Wingstop in RWC now! Today was my first visit, but I was satisfied! Greeted by a very nice and outgoing gentleman named Kevin. Interior is clean, and spacious. A lot nicer than San Carlos!
The only thing I have to complain about is the wait time. I came here on a Tuesday night at 9:30 PM and it took so long (for 10 pc) when there was only two people in front of me.

New favorite Wing Stop!!! After San Carlos lost their touch I stopped going to Wing Stop in general. When I heard there was one opening up in Redwood City I was super excited! The customer service was great and the food was in my mouth within 10 minutes. Just while writing this review, my husband fucked up a 10 piece combo. They’re THAT bomb!

Got my order wrong. I’m not a chicken wings fan and thought I’d give it a shot and ordered boneless wings. When we opened our food up at home, everything had bones. :-/

Good wings, they even gave me an extra one. However they made me wait 25 minutes for my order, 8pc with fries. I had to go up to the counter and remind them about my order…

Consistently short-​changes you wings! I ordered an 8 wing combo for lunch for takeout. After I got home, I realized they only gave me 7 wings. Ugh. But it’s only one wing, and mistakes happen, right? So I went back later and got 20 wings for dinner, again for takeout. This time they only gave me 17 wings! Don’t order here unless you’re willing to count your wings at the counter.

Ordered original hot wings and garlic wings, sided with garlic fries.
As a person who can not take too spicy food, I strongly recommend the garlic wing, which is not spicy at all, and Crispy outside, juicy inside. Original hot wings and fries are just mediocre.
One more thing, there were a lot of people waiting, so It took me around 20 mins to get my food. Quite a popular place!

They need to get it together! Ordered on their app and the order still wasn’t ready 30 minutes later, could not even locate my order. Waited another 15 minutes for them to make it, total wait time was 45 minutes for 10 pieces of wings… WOW! I hope they figure it out, what a bad first impression for a brand new business.
