L’Cellar V Restaurant

Absolute garbage. Overpriced microwave meals. Never left a review on a place before but felt the need this time. Only reason it was value for money is for the laugh it now gives us. Wouldn’t let me leave a no star rating

This was like, the most uninteresting place I’ve ever been to! Me and my friends saw the ‘all-​you-​can-​eat’ thing price and were like «sounds good!» but right after we went in a moody waitress told us there were only 3 types of pasta and once you start ordering one of them for the all-​you-​can-​eat deal you must keep ordering the same dish all over again until you’re full. Bummer. Don’t get your hopes up on trying different kinds of pasta if you’re attracted by the £4,95 price because it won’t be your lucky day.
The pasta itself wasn’t bad, but it was just like those easy microwave pasta kits you can buy on any grocery store for £0,99. I ordered something called 2-​cheese pasta which was basically spaghetti with milk, I couldn’t find the taste of 1 cheese, let alone 2… My friends ordered carbonara (which was just like mine but with cheap ham) and spicy pasta (which was decent, but still cheap-​looking). Not coming back, that’s for sure.

The food was cheaper than most other places around Chinatown, but quality wasn’t very good. Food was bland, and they use a microwave to cook. There are maybe 7 tables in a cramped stuffy basement. Waitresses were unattentive, acted like they didn’t want to be there. My plate of chicken & bacon pasta was an incredibly huge portion, big enough to share.
